A New Era Begins In Deed Transfers

With the latest innovations made by the Ministry of Justice and the Notaries Union of Turkey, a new era begins in land registry transactions. Sales transactions of all immovables such as land, fields, residences and workplaces can be made through a notary public as of Tuesday, July 4th.

HOW IS THE TRANSFER OF TITLE DUE TO THE NOTARY?

👉The person who wants to sell his real estate will apply by choosing the notary public that he wants to process through the e-Application system on the website of the Notaries Union of Turkey.

👉After the notary public's determination that the applicant is the rightful owner of the real estate, the application will be accepted and the process will be started.

👉 With the acceptance of the application, the title deed records of the real estate will be examined by the notary public, and it will be checked whether there is any obstacle to selling.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE AT NOTARY ?

📜 Once it is determined that there is no obstacle to the sale of the property, a message will be sent to the mobile phones of the interested parties in order to pay the required fee and deed revolving fund service fee.

📜After the payment of the fees and expenses, the parties will be invited to the notary public to sign the real estate sales contract.

📜 Contracts will be signed by the buyer and seller in the presence of a notary public. (A sworn translator is required for foreign buyers and sellers) Signed contracts will be recorded in the system. After that, the real estate will be registered in the land registry by sending the contracts electronically to the Land Registry and Cadastre Information System.

📜The title deed and other documents to be issued after the transfer of the immovable will be delivered by the notary public.
